Notification and Payment
Under the Building and Construction Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 1991 (the Act) all building and construction work (as defined), where the total cost of work is $80,000 or more (inclusive of GST), to be carried out in Queensland, must be notified to QLeave prior to the issue of a development permit or, if no development permit is given, before the work starts.
