A worker service return is due on 31 July 2024 for all building and construction employers.
You must submit a return for all the eligible workers you engaged from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024. The service you record for your workers goes towards their long service leave entitlement, which they'll see in a statement later in the year.
Get started early and follow the four steps below to submit your return on time.
- Login to QLeave online services.
- Add your new workers before you complete your return.
- Add your workers service into the online return or use a spreadsheet.
- Submit your return to QLeave. If there are any errors, you'll receive an alert and will need to fix these before you can submit the return.
Didn't engage workers in 2023-24?
If you didn't engage eligible workers during 2023-24, you need to login to online services to submit a nil return. To do this, select 'no eligible work performed' for each of your workers, instead of adding service for them. Find out how.
