Long Service Leave statements for 2020-21 will be mailed to workers from 16 November 2021.

We're preparing to send long service leave statements to workers in the Building and Construction industry, who have a long service leave entitlement available, and all registered Contract Cleaning workers. These will be mailed to your postal address from 16 November 2021, so you know how close you are to your well-earned break. If you're a building and construction worker who hasn't yet reached an entitlement, you'll receive your statement early next year.

Your statement will show you the service added for you by your employers between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021, along with the total service days you've recorded since joining the scheme and the number of days' long service leave available to you (if any). The details shown on your statement are current as at 30 June 2021, so if you've made a claim since then your statement may not reflect this. It will also not show any service that has been added for you for work performed in the current financial year (since 1 July 2021).

If you would like to make a long service leave claim and wish to be paid before 25 December 2021, your claim and all supporting documentation must be submitted by Friday 3 December 2021. Any claims received after this date will not be paid until January 2022.

If service is missing from your record, please speak to your employer and ask them to record this service for you. It's your employer's responsibility to be recording all of your eligible service with QLeave.
