Cancellation of membership
We may cancel your membership if you haven't:
- recorded any service with QLeave in four consecutive years, and/or
- advised us of service with an interstate scheme during this time
You’ll be notified in writing that your membership has been cancelled. You’ll have 120 days to stop your membership from being cancelled by submitting a Request for Missing Service form, and/or providing your interstate membership details to QLeave.
Once your membership is cancelled you will lose all your service days and won’t be able to claim your long service leave. If you return to the industry at a later date, your service days will start again from zero.
Other reasons your membership may be cancelled:
- we’re not satisfied that you have been, or are, performing eligible community services work
- your membership was refused because your application contained information that was false or misleading
