Frequently Asked Questions
About the long service leave payment review
Why is my long service leave payment being reviewed?
During a recent review we identified that a number of workers were underpaid their long service leave due to a calculation error on our part.
To fix this and ensure workers are paid any outstanding balances as quickly as possible, we are contacting those impacted and asking them to complete a long service leave payment review form.
Why do I need to provide my bank details and ID?
When you complete the long service leave payment review form, you’ll be asked to provide your bank details and identification. This is to make sure payments are made to the right person and the right account.
Even if you’ve already provided these details to us in the past, we ask you to confirm these details in case they have changed since you last engaged with us.
When can I expect to be paid?
We’ll prioritise calculating and processing your payment as soon as we receive your completed form.
We are aiming to finalise these adjustments before the end of the current financial year.
Will this affect my long service leave entitlement?
No, your overall long service leave entitlement will not be affected.
